S A K S H I N

We were given the name "Sakshin" by Osho 1989. Literally meaning of Sakshin is 'Witness'. Osho emphasis that 'witness' is Essential part of Meditation.

Your inner being is nothing but the inner sky.
Clouds come and go,
planets are born and disappear,
stars arise and die,
and the inner sky remains the same,
untouched, untarnished, unscarred.
We call that inner sky sakshin, the witness,
and that is, the whole goal of meditation.

ACTIVITIES of CENTER

Location : Ogikubo - at 4 minutes walking distance from south exit of JR Ogikubo Station.

There is meditation hall constructed by sanyassins as a part of Osho Work.
All Osho's celebrations, groups, daily meditation, individual sessions, music concerts, by sanyassins, Osho's video discourses are happening frequently.
You are welcome to join these activities.
"A visit to Osho Commune",tours are arranged twice a year.

Sakshin's Schedule

DAILY MEDITATIONS

Our daily meditations schedule is as following:

Dynamic : 7:00 - 8:00
Night Meditation : 6:30-7:30

We do White-Robe Brotherhood Saturday and Sunday with video projector and 100inch Projector.
Night time we choose any one of following meditations and continue it for 3-5 days.
(Kundarini or Nataraj)

BOOKSHOP

New Osho Book Shop has been opened in a center. One can purchase all Osho's books available in Japan, in Japanese and English language. Videos, discourse audios, music or meditation cassette tapes or CDs, Osho Times (Japanese, English), many kinds of Osho goods,Photos,Post-cards, Maroon and White Robe also available at Book shop.

MEDITATION CAMPS

Since 1987, meditation camps .......... they can be said as the basement, a root of Sakshin from where many activities started sprouting and growing towards the new horizons.
First 4 years we arranged Meditation Camps in Youth Hostel, in Jogashima Island. It was beautiful place.
then we felt to have our own place for Meditation and Creativity.
In1992, we rented house in Shizouka area, near Mt. Fuji and started to meditate in this house, later it was given the name as 'Osho Prem Pariwar'.
Meditation camps were happening contineously every month at Osho Prem Pariwar.
We serve vegetarian food and is cooked by sanyassins.
During the camp, sometimes Mala Celebration for new sanyassins happen and almost everybody feel joy and escatsywith showering of Osho's blessings.
It was also not enough for many people, then we purchased our own land and built hall and house there, It is named as "Osho Prem Commune", nowdays monthly meditation camps are happening there.

ACTIVITIES of PARIWAR

Given the name Osho Prem Pariwar Meditation Center we started to farm the land of near area for Organic Vegetatables, Green Tea. We used to sell the tea as 'Bodhi Tea'.One more interesting thing is Home-made Miso, as japanese people like miso soup very much and our Miso also was a great success.
Every year we arrange 3-4 kids Camp in Osho prem Pariwar now we are planning to use this space for free school for Kids.where the subjects include as Arts, music, Poem, Haiku, dancing, tracking Mt. Fuji, Ceramic pottery, Computer, internet, farming and meditation.

ABOUT OSHO PREM COMMUNE

1994, We purchased land and given the name as OSHO PREM COMMUNE and Meditation Center.
In commune we ourselves have constructed a house, on national holidays many sanyassins from Tokyo visit there and share their love through creativity and meditation, We have agricultural land where some sanyassins are growing Organic vegetables and also there is Annapurna project where many kinds of Fruit trees we have planted.
Construction work of Pyramid Shaped Meditation hall (about the 1/15 of actual size pyramid in Egypt) is near completion.
In Commune we are going to create space for groups, workshops , and meditation.
Anybody who have interest to explore the new dimensions of life through love, life and laughter, are welcome.

ACTIVITIES of SHIMIN PUBLISHING CO. LTD.

In order to spread Osho's message all over Japan, we started Publishing Company named as Shimin Publishing company Ltd. which has access with network of 20000 Bookshops all over Japan.
We have acquired complete Osho's Video Archive from OIF London comprising of about 1700 remastered Osho's Videos.
Anybody who have interest to distribute contact to Osho Sakshin meditation center.

We are publishing Osho Darshan and Osho Books into Japanese Language. Publishing work of "Vigyan Bhairav Tantra", "In Search of the Miraculous" and many other books are under progress.
We have decided to carry a caravan of Osho Book Fairs in different parts of Japan. It is called as "Osho Book Caravan" our schedule for 1997 is to arrange book fairs at following cities of Japan. Just as Kyoto, Nagoya,Sapporo,Fukuoka, Okinawa,Tokyo.

Indian Restaurant NATARAJ

'Nataraj' means God of Dance.
About 8 years before need arise to share Osho's energy and love in market place and to create opportunities for sanyassins to live their life meditatively and creative.
It is only Indian Vegetarian Restaurant in Tokyo. About 30 types curries and 4 kinds of breads without using any leavening agent are served, regularly many famous magazines and newspapers are carrying out articles about our restaurants. Also most famous Indian bread 'Nan' is served.
Lunch menu on working days also available.
2 minutes walk from south exit of JR Ogikubo station
10% discount on all meals is offered to participants of Meditation in Osho Sakshin Meditation Center.
Earlier Nihon TV and recently TBS TV also introduced about this shop.
